I hear the Bass look like this in Texas! Someone told me that this would be a throw back fish on Amistad and Fork and that they normally use fish like these for bait to catch the big ones!!!!

Someone told you wrong, that is what we use to catch crappie down here.

Everything is bigger in Texas huh!!!! I love it and can't wait to move there in the future! Maybe sooner than later if I fall in love with Fork!

I always wondered on this picture, if it is 25 lbs, why do you have to hold it out to try to make it look bigger?

I watched the video of this on "the worlds greatest fishing show" and what an amazing Bass! I could not imagine reeling that monster in! It makes me want to go to Lake Dixon pretty bad!

From the look on his face, it would appear that he's doing good just to hold it up ...

I don't know why one would hold a fish that big like that anyway. It can't be good on the lower jaw. He should have cradled it with both hands.

It came from the neighborhood tank in Mesquite Forest!!

You ought to see the one I saw at said lake earlier this year. Made this one look like she was underfed little sister. And yes, I got "buck fever" and totally blew my chance at catching her. Maybe next time I won't go into a stupor due to her size and use my head and have a shot at catching her.

Man, I really thought I was over the big fish shakes. Guess not!!
