    That beam looks plenty stout enough. I helped a guy move (to California!) that had a 2x4 across his single car garage that was chewed through about 25% right in the center, where he'd been using it to pull the 283 Chevy out of his early Jeep CJ.

    Another guy I knew screwed one of these hooks https://www.mclendons.com/2720426/pr...dware-n220-574 to the front of his garage and used it to pull car engines with. Worked for years....until it broke. The two screws held fine, tho.
