    Lake Waco

    Has anybody ever fished Lake Waco? Is there any fish in it if so what to use.

    I caught some decent fish 2-3lbs on a spinner bait rolled over a laydown. We also caught some on cotton candy colored finese worms tx rigged. This was in the summer last year though and that was my 1st time fishing the lake. Not sure about now. I think the water level is way up from the last time I fished it. Also, be sure to stop by for a hamburger over at the restaurant by the airport if they are still open. You used to be able to call in an order and pick it up or it would be ready when you pulled up and you could jump out and eat. Caught a few fish in the cove by the airport and restaurant too. I'd like to get back up there as I had a good time on that lake. It seemed like all that stuff that should work did like it was sposed too. Good luck.
