    Visit wit Skip & Martha

After a day of site walks yesterday in the Temple / Killeen area. I stopped by to see Skip and ended up having dinner with he and Martha. Alwaysgreat to see & visit with them. I'm kinda worried though ... I think Skip has the hots for Nancy Pelosi. He just kept going on about what a hottie she is ...

Re: Visit wit Skip & Martha (fishergal)

Just alittle not to Chris and Robert. I loved the Army very much when I was in. I made SFC E-7 in less than 8 years. I had 10 1/2 years in when I was offered a 70% medical retirement (from wounds from Vietnam) with full retirement benefits. It wasn't an easy decission. I was Infantry and loved it. But in the end I took the retirement and never missed a lick. You don't get paid as much as you should in the military and the one thing that keeps you going in that retirement at the end, which you both will have earned every bit of it. When that time comes and you are ready to take it, just do it, don't worry, everything will work out and 6 months later you will be happy you did. A big to you both. And thank you you both for your service.
