I would like to see a picture of that sometime. Not disagreeing just cant wrap my head around it. Can you reach the pedal if sitting down at the pedestal position.

My Eyra came with the pedal in the forward position. I had planned to move it back but fished with it in the forward position and never moved it back. I’m sure there are times the back position would be better but I’ve never moved it so far in 2 1/2 years. I think what type of fishing you do a lot of dictates the preferred position. Off store, rough, I’d say back. Docks, shallow, forward.

Ridiculous, guess all the high powered cars have increased automobile accidents also. Better outlaw the Hell Cats, GT 350R’s, Corvettes, etc.

I read where they expect this combo to break a 100, not sure if it’s true but read it on one of the Bass Cat threads. I love my Eyra but if money were no one object the Jag with the 450R would be fun just because. Lynx with a 300 would be at the top of my choices though I think.

Apple's and oranges....piloting a high hp car on pavement is a hell of a lot different than a 100+ mph boat. That is not even a close comparison. I never said to ban them, or anything of the sort...im a speed junkie...

Move the passenger seat back over to the other side and it would look a lot better but, it will sell because there are those that will like that as stated in earlier threads. Hope they are able to sell them so the money stays here in the USA.

450 HP was told once that if you are going to fish "Money Tournaments" you have to have a boat that will beat the other competitors to the winning spots.

This boat might be high priced because of that big motor but will surely pay for itself in no time with all that speed you'll beating the guys with 200-350's to all the good spots plus time saved running to new spots, waiting to the last second to head to the weigh in equals more casts per tournament.

So don't look at this boat as a luxury but as a sound business investment in your "Professional Fishing Career" that will advance you farther and faster than those chasing your wake.

There are a lot of people where a hundred grand plus for a bass boat is chump change. I see people every day flying their 60 million dollar Gulfstream jet around to vacation spots so a hundred thousand dollar boat is nothing. Not every Jag buyer will get the 450R but it’s pretty sweet to have it as an option for those with the money.

The guys in the gulf stream jets probably have little time for such trivial activities.

Beat me to it. Take a cruise sometime along Lake Minnetonka shoreline, lined with its obscenely huge homes, and count the bass boats on the docks.
