Go some where there is not a shortage of water and fish. I think BassPastor would recommend Lake O Pines

Jeff Kirkwood guide on Lake Fork and BBC member has a report in the fishing report forum and what he says is absolute truth.

We have been doing good starting out in the grass in the mornings with buzz baits
of pop r type baits then switching to a weightless zoom trick worm fished on a wacky rig till about 10 or so then i will start looking for the deeper bite on the main points humps ridges and roadbeds the roadbeds have been our best bet throwing a drop shot trick worm with a 3/8 weight with an 18 inch leader the carolina bite should be doing well also i havent thrown it in the last 3 weeks just because there was noo need to my best colors have been watermelon/red flk or sour grape
however with the cooler temps the spoon bite should pick up some a few weeks
ago we caught 25 to 30 dinks on the spoon with a few 2 lbers mixed in in about an
hour hope it helps i my partner and i will be there fishing as well if you see a white 18 ft cobra with red stripes just dont drive over my marker like some yahoos do trying to figure out what i am fishing the damndest thing i have ever seen good luck
