That's what I'm hoping happens, I tried to watch every Apollo launch I could growing up, I hated when they got to T- 60 seconds and counting, and then HOLD and sit there at T- 60 for what seemed like hours while they checked on some false signal.

That's awesome. I remember watching shuttles go up as a kid from Kennedy. And the returns. Used to scare us to death.

    That is Awesome!

Got to see a shuttle go up once, when I was at RTC Orlando doing basic training. I was at the dental office getting a cleaning and they let us go outside, all you could really see was the cloud following the rockets going up but was still pretty cool.

My late father was one of the Delco Electronics engineers who designed the guidance systems for the early space launches back in the 50’s and 60’s. All I remember is he worked all the time, or traveled for GM all the time. He built a web-site after he retired at 72 with hundred of pictures from outer space travel. His web-site went dark after his death. I did not know that you had to pay someone to keep it up and running.
