    RC Lake Level

Our club fished a tournament on RC this weekend and it's about 5 feet low. We need to get some water in this lake or the Rally is going to be tough. One of our club boats ran up on a sand bar and was stuck from about 6:30 am until around 6:00 pm trying to get off the bottom. When he started hitting bottom he pulled his big motor up and just slid about a 600 yards up on the sand. With the help of the fire department and one of our clubs boats they got enough rope to pull them off the sand. Wherever you fish, please go slowly if you aren't sure about the water depth.

Yea Bill, he was on that big flat. It took two boats and a lot of rope to get them off.

I have seen that happen on at least SIX other lakes this year.
Cedar Creek, Bob Sandlin, Tawakoni during BASS, and many, many more.

We'll get through this event. If anyone knows the lake, RC had plenty of timber in it at FULL POOL... In short, you GOTTA KNOW WHERE YOU'RE GOING AND GO SAFELY
