heat soak all year long ????

1997 200 hp vindicater model#e200stleub i have had those heat seek issues since i had a rebuilt power head put on. it dont matter if its 40 degrees outside or 100. as soon as i stop and fish for a while .then go to start it up it idels 100 rpm lower then normal then when you take off it dies .will start right back up.i have read all the posts on it. why would mine start this after a new power head was put on ...this has been doing it for 2 years now. is my moter a 60 or a 90 thank you if you can help

Your motor is a 90 degree and your fuel and timing/ignition system is completely different than the 60 * motors. Your rebuilder may have retarded the timing on it so no internal damage would be done during break in. If you are through break in which is seems like you should be after 2 years. Take your motor back to your rebuilder and have him adjust the timing. Welcome to the BBC.
