Rally on Clarkshill?

Hey Champ Dog, is there going to be a Rally in South Carolina in 2012? Or is there just going to be a get together at one of the Lakes? Just wondering.

Just rememeber GA state park has cabins and golf course on Russell....'cause as Carl Childers says about Duh 'Hill "It ain't got no Bass in it" LOL If I get a job I'll be there....WOOHOO really had a good time @ Duh 'Hill last year.

Been trying to figure it out all morning. Earliest my schedule will let me do it is June. May be an out side shot in May on the weekend of the 12th (Mother's day weekend). Next shot after June would be in September. Work schedule has me messed up as does the trail I'm fishing so we'll see. Post up some dates and I'll see how it turns out.

Bad thing with russell is proximity to stores. etc and accomodations. Been through this way too many times and put enough rallies on. BTW there is no real money to be won. First place is a plaque. Big fish gets a plaque and some cash. Your entry fees go towards the plaques and food which costs a small fortune to feed this crowd. There is a small $$ pot on Fridays, you also have to donate at least $10.00 worth of bait or tackle for the BBC santa.

dont matter where you are Fred-just that we're there HK got that little pool table and stuff...but I like Hartwell too-they got a days inn or somethin' and was places to eat, a walsteins and one of dem ice 16 lb for 1.50 machines..and gas. Hartwell Ga..but really-I dont care where you put the grill and cooler best topwater bite i have ever had in june.

Provided we're not in another major wreck (hence CricketKiller able to stand longer than 1hr like last year) ............. we will be there.

She's just now getting to where she can take a full day of fishing.

I fully understand the money, plaques, food, etc....
No problem with that at all....
Just would be nice to meet up with all of you and have conversation, fun, etc.....

If I can make it I would not mind going to Hartwell one bit...I heard they got bass over two pounds in that lake !!

June would be about my only shot considering I have two tournament free weekends between Feb and the first part of June.

Days Inn - Anderson or Tugaloo SP on Hurtwell. Of course we could stay @ Latimer on Russel if its still open in Calhoun Falls..?? JoJo thats closer to your neck of the woods.. And the Hill is just as fine cause its def closer for me coming from Savannah area..

If Fred does choose Hartwell-Hartwell Ga motel is cheaper to stay than anderson and June is good on Hartwell. Just kind of tough to beat HK-where we got the yard-grill and park to ourselves...
