What octane?

Guys, I have been using 87 octane in my '04 150 Johnson. Is this ok or do I need to bite the bullet and pay more? I do use name brand gas.............

It should say in your manual but 87 octane is the best way to go. If you burn the other stuff and it's rated for 87, you'll actually have a decrease in performance.

Whats your thoughts on 87 octane for a 97 200 venom. I have always used the 92. Would it do the same on fuel milage? It hurts to drop 180 bucks to filler up... vs 125..

As long as its stock.... 87 would be fine.
