Russel is fishing real tough right now.
Ain't no fish left in it....the visiting MEAT HUNTERS done toted them off. I wish we could'a got some PCB's like Hartwell...
Sat. was tuff all over we fished Secession and only caught 4 fish out of 6 bites but the good news was the 4 we got in weighed 18# BF #7.5 & #6.5. Never got a bite untill 11:30 AM and HAD to quit @ 3pm. Caught the 2 big ones in the last hr. Like Ike screams.."NEVER GIVE UP!!" LOL If I wasn't running a silly azz fruit jar TX{4 boats...sad & 1 dude went home before the weigh-in} I'd stayed latter, but I had to go to the funeral home too. I'd like to went today but had a funeral to go to. I hope everybody makes it thru OK the next couple of months...just about funeral-ed out {last 2 weekends have had 3}.
It'll get better after the snow melts,,, I'm see'n why Yankees go crazy now...LOL CYA

Our tourney on Clarks Hill weekend before this last one didn't see many fish caught but all the one we did catch were beauties. Two were over 7 pounds and one over 6 pounds. Nobody caught anything before 11:00 AM The fish top right was worth $500 for him.
I think this cold muddy water has em knocked in the head.

Nice fish...I've got some buddies that live up there near Sope Creek and say it's the toughest winter they've seen.
