Long shot....looking for an old creek chub lure box

My buddy was going through his dads old lure collection. He came across 2 creek chub lures that are worth a good amount of money, but he doesn't have the boxes and they are worth more if he had the boxes for them. Both the lures look like they have never been used. They look like a pike, props on both ends like a devils horse. Model #2900. Thanks for any help you can offer. I posted here as the antique collectibles page doesn't get much attention. The box in the pic has the wrong model # on it.

Some of the boxes are worth more than the lure that came in it. How old is that lure, about? The older ones have a cup type hook hanger, not just a screw eye. I have several of both styles but no boxes. My old family members fished the lures and tossed the boxes.

I'm not sure, he thinks circa 1920ish. It was actually passed on to his dad from his grandfather. The crazy part is that it looks like it has never been used. He was told it would be worth way more $ with the correct box. Looks like it has the cup style holders on the front and back. I will get some more pics to determine what style hook holders it has.

Here's a better pic of the bottom. I'm thinking he is correct with 1920's

That looks like an old one to me. I have a book that lists the average value of old fishing stuff. The book is a few years old so it’s not up to date but I’ll see if your lure is in it and get back to you. That’s a great find though,it’s rare to see one in unused condition. All of mine are used and look it.

I have an older book that states "Gar Minnow #2900 Date 1927-1953 The Gar Minnow was produced in two standard colors: Natural Gar and Green Gar Value: $250.00-325.00" no telling what that might be worth today, sweet condition!
