ETEC HO Problems

Does anyone else on this site have problems with the 206 with 225 ETEC HO?
My combo will not get out of the hole in a decent amount of time when fully loaded. The dealer has been through the motor top to bottom. I am running a 27 tempest, have tried a 26 Raker II, The raker II does a better job, but still struggles. I have been told that the 27 tempest setup runs good, but no comment on holeshot. I have been told that the 26 Raker II will get this combo up in less than 5 seceonds.
To me, it looks like there is too much water being forced into the jack plate, so I spent 45.00 bucks for the filler plate, water still pours in to the jack plate. It looks to me like the boat needs more stern lift to free it up from the water.
Please Help!!!!!!!!! Other than getting on plane, the boat and motor runs great.

Hole shot plate di nothing for the holeshot except take 40 to 50 bucks from my pocket.

Thats weird I have a 21X triton with the same motor and 27P tempest and it jumps on plane? It was a little hard to get on plane with three people full fishing gear and two full livewells. Maybe try raising the motor or adjusting the plug holes?

Had a customer call and tell the me the live well would not fill up in his new boat.
He was going to drive through town in a couple of days and stop in so I could check it out. He said he fished alone. So when I saw him sit in the bow seat with all his 425 lbs., the transom was clear of the water, thus no water for the pumps.
I went down to the local garage and found a piece hose with a 90 deg. turn that fit over the intake and was long enough to be under water. Problem solved.
Then there mom and pop and their new 17' 130 hp I/O that would not plane. Dealer had to put a 13" prop to get it to plane out but seriously over tached when it got up. Dealer went to the lake with the customer and found that mom and pop ONLY sat in the two jump seats beside the engine. Mom and pop weighed 260 and 280 and the kid driver about 250. Ya never know!
