I live in the Upstate of SC, and have many lakes to choose from within 2 hrs. Living in Rock Hill you would have Wylie, Wateree, Norman, and Fishing Creek all pretty close. It all just depends on what bigger city you want to live near, Greenville, Rock Hill, Columbia, or the coast.

I work for Carrier heating and cooling products. Would love to retire close to Charlotte, NC. and work part time for the factory. And Rock Hill, SC. is only 25 mins away.

If you do on employment time you will need to make sure that your W-4's are set to withdraw from SC not NC as their State tax is not the same as SC and you would have to file an amendment form to get your $$ correct. Hope it works for you!!
