Has anyone had any success at this place this year??? I dont know if its me or dadgone jerkskiers/dummy pleasure boatersI have tried bombing docks with plastics, c-rigs in deep water, crankbaits,spinnerbaits...basically the whole tacklebox. I realy dont like going there, but I can hook up the boat and be on water in 30min. Does anyone know something I dont???
They are smokin a jig right now...docks close to main lake points...
I was thinkin bout tryin that...but never heard anyone having success out there with jigs, now I will try it. What about weightless plastics i.e. senkos, flukes and things like that. Thanks buddy
My friends that went up there this weekend said they caught some good fish on buzzbaits also...shallow main lake points with bouys...
Well that makes me feel better that there some fish out there... Im gonna try the jigs this weekend. gotta get some new buzzbaits though. Me and my buddy went out one night and put 5 in the boat, only 4 would have kept though but they all came off of docks on a shallow runnin crank...has not happend since... Thanks for the info fellers, we need to meet up sometime.
I was there in late june or early July a few years back. Never been there, they sure did like a spook and black and blue jig. Had a ball.

Tried a spook the day we plucked them off the docks..got one slash, didnt hook up though...btw my backseater boated all the fish
Black.blue jig only way to go this time of year, or a shakey head!
Trailer or no trailer on the jig? I like using trailers
Paca Chunk by Net Bait, best I have found! Also look for bream beds, getting kinda late for them but if you find some there will be bass around.
I know where some huge bream beds are...this is good info, now I have an attack plan for the weekend
One of my CATT buddies smoked em again Sat at Wylie...topwater up the river...2 over 4 and several 2 pounders
zeroed again...buddy got 2, one came unbuttoned at the boat. they didnt want my jig at all... o well, try again next week.
