Hey guys,
Got a club regional at chickamauga coming up in October. Ive never fished it before. Can you guys give me some good starting info. It'll be mid october out of dayton. I'm gonna go practice before but would like a starting point.

I used to do good on the grass flats going up towards cottonport/goodfield. Below watts bar damn can be good too if they are pulling water. Caught my personal best (9lb) about 7 years ago on a spinnerbait around brush on the main channel just above hwy 30 bridge. Good luck, there are some toads in there.

Hiwassee, Richland Creek, and Sale Creek are good in the Fall. They would be down river from Dayton. If you like grass fishing there will be a good amount of it in Richland Creek and Hiwassee.
