    what gives?

took the toon out yesterday to go fishn' for the first time this year. went to fire it up, and the system check lights worked properly, but the audible beep that usually goes off when first turning the switch didn't work at all. lights work fine, but no beep, what would cause that and how do i fix it? second, i turn the key the rest of the way, and there is a delay from the turn of the key to when the engine fire's over. i am wondering if that is in the ignition switch. third, she's idling rough and bogs down during holeshot. when up and running, the t&h spacers and 24 raker had made a significant difference in performance. plenty of lift and just wants to go. what i'm wondering is could it be just the old gas in her that's boggn' her down? i forgot to add a stabilizer over the coarse of the winter. should i just go ahead and add some fuel additive from my local boat mech, to help boost the octane a bit and clean out the injectors. i imagine i should change the fuel filter as well as clean up the plugs-they have less than 20 hrs hours. whatcha think. thanks.

The horn not working could be the horn itself and it could be a bad System check guage, the easy way to test either is with a replacement, borrow... don't buy.

Putting any boat away with out winterizing in some means is not a good idea.

Stop by your local dealer and get a NEW spin on fuel filter and a can of Engine Tuner, fill the NEW spin on filter with Engine Tuner and install the NEW filter, prime the fuel bulb until firm.

Start the motor..with water of course....and let it idle for around 20 minutes, take the boat for a ride and keep the RPM's below 3500 to 4000 for another 30 minutes, this should clean the old fuel out of the fuel system.
