    94' Ranger 354XT, original 150 Fast strike, guidance needed

    1. Correct engine oil.
    Purchased used, original owner used Penzoil full synthetic. Discontinued, switched
    Sierra full syn., should I be running full syn., or XD50 or even XD100? Sierra doesn't. seem to be popular.
    2. Correct plugs? Champion QL78YC?
    3. Currently using WIX fuel/water separator. Racor Best? If so, recommend model.

    That's a good water separator. I recommend a 10 micron, but any is better than nothing at all. Those are the correct plugs. Make sure they're gapped to .030". XD50 oil is good for that motor. XD100 is the best oil, but can be a little expensive. However, it prevents (doesn't create) carbon deposits, so you don't have to do a de-carb on the motor every year, which is nice.
