I'm gong to be in Nashville for a wedding, middle of May. I might try to get some fishing in if I can, are there decent lakes in/around Nashville area?
Thanks!

There's Old Hickory Lake and Percy Priest just on the outskirts of Music City. also, Cumberland River runs right thru the middle of Nashville.

Yep... Old Hickory is usually pretty good mid-May.![]()
I agree with the comments above but Nashville is also only 1 1/2 to 2 hours from southern KY Lake or Lake Barkley (Dover, TN) - which can be fantastic in May. That's probably where I would head.
"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
Thanks guys. Maybe I can work some fishing into this wedding trip.
May on the river will be great. Largemouth, smallmouth, and stripers will all be active. Me personally, i'd head a couple of hours east to Dale Hollow for the smallmouth. Old Hickory and Priest would be my last 2 choices.
Boatless Bank Trash for now
