usually as long as i'm fishing it doesn't matter but old hickory has always been tough on me. i've always fished it in the fall when other places are tough also.

Old Hickory. Easiest lake to win a tournament on. Worst lake to fish.

Live on Old Hickory, grew up on Tims and Woods, finally figuring out Center Hill (formally referred to as "The Dead Sea" in my family), but Normandy gives me fits. I vote for Normandy Lake.

Lots of different opinions on this one. Not surprising at all. We all need to get together and find out who is good on the lakes we hate and fish together and teach the others about the lake they hate.

Hate all impoundments. Much prefer river systems. I would much rather fish Old Hickory than Percey Priest or Center Hill. The only thing I don't like about Old Hickory is all those big ugly houses.

I second the motion on Normandy. I preferr to recognize it as "POORMANDY" anymore.

Center Hill 9 months out of the year. I can tolerate it Nov, Dec, and March.

I grew up on normandy and tims. Finally have learned both fairly well. And I can always catch fish on woods, BUT none are hardly ever over two pounds lol

I grew up on Cordell Hull and I still can't catch anything there. There are some big fish that are caught there, but 2-3 lbders are few and far betweeen. I enjoy fishing Old Hickory, but it is feast and famine.....

Percy Priest is my least favorite!! Only because of the boat traffic and pressure.

South Holston... fished the BFL 2 years ago as a boater and if my memory is correct only 8 or 9 boaters weighed a fish. I didn't and I'm pretty sure there was 140-150 boats.
