I not been fishing there long, actually only been fishing out of a boat for one year. Just can not seem to figure anything out down there right now. I have a little club tournament out of ragland next weekend. So, any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

What I usually do is fish points with a hair jig after dark. Honestly, I am really no help day or night outside of spring. But I can usually catch a few at night by rotating through points that I have done well on in the past. I just go from point to point throwing the hair jig or a Texas Rig Zoom paddletail worm and repeat. Usually you will hit one and catch them. The points I normally fish are main lake with big jagged rocks, down by the dam.

Friend of mine was catching them in 15 to 25 feet of water two weeks ago at the Hill. (smallies and spots) Didn't say where or how. He also said surface water temp was 88 and you absolutely have to watch the fish in the livewell and keep them cool.
