Best Navionics card for Ky and Barkley lakes

Searched the forum and maybe I was looking the wrong places or putting in the wrong words to find the answer to my question. But I am trying to figure out what the best possible card for Ky and Barkley lakes on the market is. I have Lowrance HDS gen 2 units. Thanks

I have Navionics Hot Maps Platinum. I think that is the best Navionics for those lakes.

I don't know what is the best but I do know you can look at navionics maps without buying them. They have copyright software on their website that only allows you to download maps to a SD card that has a Navionics card reader inside the SD card. In fact when you buy a Navionics card it is blank and you go to the website and download the card reader program to your computer so you can upload the maps to your blank navionics card. Once you buy the navionics SD card you can upload any updates for free for 365 day. After that it is a small fee. On the east card I have (and I can't recall which one) it has about 99.9% of all the major reservoirs with very detailed contours. About the only thing with poor detail is small city lakes or a lake very small in size. I have never updated my card because all the lake I fish are already high detail map lakes.

Go to Navionics...under products select Navionics GPS Plotter Charts...then choose one of the 3 type cards they offer...then use the cursor to scroll and zoom around on the map. Check out all three map card options and see which one has the detail you are looking for. I use their website to scout out areas.

Any Navionics card will work well for you. All the current Navionics offerings are the same in terms of contour mapping, with all of them offering both Nautical Charts and SonarChart data. Platinum is the top card in the freshwater lineup, and it includes satellite, 3D and panoramic views as well as some advanced map features. The Regions card and Nav+ US and Canada are also great choices.
