Almost all tidal water above the WW bridge (495, capitol beltway) requires a DC license, <u>not </u>a MD license. If you plan on fishing the Oxon run/spoils area, I'd advise you get both: there is no reciprocity between DC and MD fishing licenses and the dividing line runs through here (it just about splits oxon cove in half).
You will need the Chesapeake Bay Sport Fish and the DC in that area. You will also be able to the entire river with the CBSF.
