Anyone on here who fished and blew a motor contact me. I'm collecting info on the circumstances of these failures. I know so far of 8 engines from Wednesday- Saturday
trying to find if they are all fuel related or what. 2 motors blew right after fuel up.

Dam thats alot of blown engines, i saw the previous post and made sure i waited till i got thru that town to fill up. Good reason to keep a small mason jar in the truck, fill it halfway with gas, put the lid back on it and give it a swirl, water droplets will settle to the bottom of the gas and are easily visible, takes about 30 seconds to see if there is water in the fuel. Hopefully they get covered for this.
I'm also testing % of ethanol to see if they are pushing the 10% envelope.Or if they accidentally put E85 in there tanks. So far 10% on tests.
what you should be collecting is gas receipts from the same station. if they used a debit card and printed receipt then you have proof of purchase/date/time and see if there is a pattern of stations in the same area. good luck, ethanol will be the cause of 90% of problems.
