Livescope in route- BEST/cheapest mount separate from trolling motor??

I realize there's a million videos on this! need help picking the best solution advice needed FYI normal transducers already on the trolling motor head. Are the PVC ones worth a darn or too flexible?.. thanks fellas

Fedex delivered my LVS32 yesterday and I've been doing crazy amounts of research trying to come up with a solution myself.

I have an Aluminum Lund with the Sport Trac system, so I'll likely try to mount a pole in that from some type of Scotty or Ram mount, assuming it doesn't become flimsy or unstable. My biggest concern is ease of use to deploy and use on the water. It also needs to be easily retracted while moving between spots on the water and not risk damage.

Cheaper options I've found are homemade or something like the Brocraft Universal Transducer bracket. The Brocraft is only around $65 on Amazon, but I have quality concerns. Curious if anyone out there uses this option.

Other options I've seen are from Fishing Specialties or da 'ducer. These are going to run between $200 - $300.

Mine just got delivered and am looking as well. I am trying to find a way to deploy with TM but also have the ability to not deploy it when I am in the thick mats.

I have the fishing specialties mount....good mount and you can remove the pole and transducer easily if you desire. It also does not take up a forward rail when stowed. I take mine off to transport to the lake and back, and when in storage.

X2 on the fishing specialties mount. I'm putting livescope on my trolling motor but watched this youtube video today on how a guy setup his livescope and the mount looked nice. Fast forward to 6:25 and he talks about the mount.

I went with the fishing specialties mount. Haven't used it but twice. Think it's going to be the ticket.

If you have an old minn kota trolling motor laying around, You can build one pretty easily with it and a large ram mount. I have about 75 bucks in mine.

I wanted a separate mount too until I actually used it on my Ultrex... Luv it. I can scan directions with least effort (u will scan a ton of time). Ok... it’s a lil pia with spotlok engaged but that is only downside. Try b4 u buy bracket!

I ordered a mount for my Ultrex from "All Aboard Ladder". They make it where you can adjust the height and it mounts right to the stationary portion of the Ultrex. I ordered the extension handle as well so I can point the transducer any direction I want. Another advantage to these is that while in spot lock, your transducer stays where you want it pointed regardless of where the trolling motor is pointed. When you stow the Ultrex, the mount stows with it. They sell them for regular trolling motors as well. They run around $300.

Used it for the 1st time last night. I dont think I will be going with a seperate mount. Having it on the trolling motor made it very easy to find and go to fish.
