    My First 5+ lb Fish

    Went to my local fishing hole today and found some fish on still on beds, yes I said still on beds. I was excited to say the least when I hooked this one as it about pulled the rod right out of my hands. Weighed her in at the local game check and she went 22 1/4 inches and 6.4 pounds. May head back tomorrow and catch her friends that are still there...

    I never thought about that, but I guess you are correct. I never even thught about getting the net either until just now, thought I might have to go swiming for sure to land her as well.

    I had to catch one in the water as there were no tree fish left to catch...
