I dropped off my boat today. I looks like it may be the lower unit. I hope I can get it fixed quickly (without too much enxpense) as I am dying to get back out on the river. I have not been since the rally. It is a pain to be 1600 miles from home towing a boat that you cannot use where you want to. Wish me luck.

Yeah. I took it to Ken's yesterday. They said they may get to look at it today. I am just waiting for a call.
Go to the riverwalk while you are there. I won't tell Sue you went to Coyote Ugly if it will get you in trouble. They have a nice Bass Pro up there on I 10, west of loop 1604. Just do not leave anything valuable in the car. If you get over there, go to the Sportsman's Warehouse north of I 10 on 1604. It will be on the west side of the freeway, across from the Academy. They have some good prices on lures and gear.

Got word. Not good. It is the power head. I am up **it creek without a big motor. I will have to wait until I get home to mess with it. Nothing like a $5000 problem to bring your fishing to a halt. Kind of hard to justify that kind of cash on a boat motor with family obligations and all. I will have to think this one out for a while before I decide on what to do.
At least I can say I fished the Potomac.
went to bps yesterday and hid the stuff in the trunk. Thanks though! Saw the SW, no time to go by there thoygh....heading home 0430 tomorrow.
Got a good deal on some BPS shoes for fishing.
You can admit you went to Coyote Ugly. Next time you get near a SW you need to stop in. Be careful coming home.

Does it always rain here? I can count the sunny days on one hand since I arrived. My father was about an hour SE of San Antonio today. He said it was 100 degrees where he was at. It was 92 at home. I feel like I am in London here.
