Potomac is playing tuff right now. Yesterday fished the lower end of the river,yes i could taste salt in the water! Caught 2 right away on topwater then went about 4 hours without a bite then caught one about 4 lbs and one about 3 1/2lbs. Fished til about 3:30 and caught 2 more keepers. Never got on a pattern just little spots. Today moved upriver above Gunston and caught 4 keepers thoughout the day with 6 non-keepers. Once again nothing in particular just junk fishing.

i would have agreed with you at first..i fished both days and averaged about 8lbs each day..so 16lbs with 7 fish..couldnt find my limits but founds some decent ones. Then they were bringing in 17lbs, 16lbs and a bunch of 12-14lbs limits during the region tx out of lee's so its GOOD somewhere...but yes it was saltier down south..need some rain
