Xi5 won't turn off when stowed problem

I had a problem with the motor not turning off when stowed. I searched forms and seen there is a magnetic sensor that could be out of place. I called Motorguide and they sent pictures of what it looked like and I thought I would post them in case someone else had the same problem. The sensor is that little cylinder thing on the back of the control board in the last picture.

That sensor is a reed switch that is activated by a magnet on the steer module. That is my under standing from Motor guide dealer support. Most of the failures are with the reed switch for which there is a kit to replace that switch. If this is warranty I recommend you bring to repair shop.
