    Oily Plugs

I have an 1981 E235. Runs good but when when done running it for the day and check the plugs, they are oily. I use XD-50 @ 50:1 and using the specified champion plugs. QL16V I believe. Is this normal ?

Just reading about this problem in the manual for a friend. Im not an outboard machanic but the book did say to check the condition of your engine by compression and leak down %. If its very worn it could cause the same thing. Oily plugs.
