Was wondering how to best fish this lake. Anybody have any suggestions? I fish it quite often for fun but was wondering what is being used to catch fish consistently. Some days do alright, other days not so good. Any help or suggestions would be apperciated. Still learning this bass fishing thing but believe i have become addicted!
I grew up on that lake and it can be very, VERY frustrating at times! For consistency I would throw shakey heads, small texas rigs, or crankbaits. Go north of Hwy 20 brige for largemouth (size) and south for smallmouths (numbers). I don't believe that there is anything consistant about that lake other than hybirds, which can make the time fly by when the black bass are not biting!
Dynamite is about the only thing that works. That lake will humble anyone.
