Can anyone recommend a mechanic that will take my boat on the water to check it out? I need someone that will run it, or run in it with me that is honest and can fix the problem the 1st time. Prefer in the Tulsa area. Please help!

you might try M&M Speed and Marine in Pryor. they are right Hudson and probly can take it for a spin. and Bills marine in Skiatook will probly take it out also.
you got 2 shops right here in my townwho have you taken it too and what is it doing?
I will NOT go to Sundown! It acts like it has a fuel delivery problem. I need someone to run it on water. I've got a trusted mechanic that checked it out on land and couldn't figure it out.

Merc tech won't do me any good since I have a Johnson, but I wouldn't let sundown touch my boat again if they paid me. Thanks for the tips, Mike.

on the old omc's, make sure you didn't turn the choke solenoid valve by accident. it's the red pointer on the right side of the carb section, make sure it points rearward, and not forward, if it points forward it will choke all the time a run rich,
