Sneaked out of the house and braved the wind about 1000 this morning after the rain we had and headed toward Elmer Thomas. It was a little windy till around noon then calmed down a bit, not much but a bit. Started off on couple of the weed lines with crankbaits only had one small LGM. So went to throwing texas rigged worms and tubes at the brush and at the points. Caught five more with the following being the biggest. All of them were between 16 to 18 inches. Overall not bad for a few hours. Sorry for the pics; I was by myself.

Good deal How is the hydrillia or weed that grow under the water getting bad yet?

You just need to learn how to fish it and use it to your advantage. It helps much more than it hurts. All the grass was killed in the lake years ago, and the fishing suffered. Now that it's back so are the fish.
