    Exclamation Will "spot lock" trolling motors make Power Poles/Talons unnecessary?

    My buddy recently got a MK Ulterra on his boat. I found it fantastic how it keeps you in place. So, I thought these types of trolling motors could make Power Poles/Talons unnecessary. Would be nice not to have all that extra weight in the back. What do you all think and why?
