Today I had the chance to hook my 911CDC up behind the all new 2011 f150 EcoBoost. For those who don't know the EcoBoost is a V6 twin turbo new motor for ford in the F150. It has an outstanding 420 flbs of torq at 2200rpms. I wanted to see how it would pull the boat. I currently drive a f150 2006 king ranch with the 5.4 ltr that pulls the boat just fine. As I took off north bound on 540 I could tell a huge difference. It was almost night and day between my truck and the EcoBoost. The EcoBoost didn't miss a beat and Pulled much better then my 5.4. The new EcoBoost is rated at 16mpg in town and 22mpg on the highway. This motor really impressed me at how effortlessly it pulled the boat. If you get a chance go check one out at Lewis ford.
