I have had nothing but problems out of my 2005 225 Hpdi. I bought the boat used and got the two year yes warranty on it and in 5 months, it's been in the shop 6 times. I will say that yamaha has been taking care of the bill but 2 different dealers can't seem to get it fixed. What does yamaha do when dealer says he doesn't know what's wrong with the motor, therefore can't fix it? There has to be a point where yamaha is going to get tired of putting new things on the motor and not even solving the problem. Also does yamaha have a limit on how much money they will spend in warranty repair? if so once you reach that limit do they just kick you to the curb?
