I posted this in the Lounge. Be careful around Old Hickory Lake ramps. Hide all your stuff from plain view. I went fishing this morning and put in at the Stark Knob Ramp in Hendersonville. I had never used it before but thought I would since it is close to my home. When we got back to the ramp from fishing today, I noticed my driver's side back door was open. When we got to the vehicle, we noticed that it had been broken into. They must have used a hammer and screwdriver to pry the lock out of the way to get the door unlocked. Hell, I wish they would have just broken the glass! That is a one day fix. Now it has to go the body shop to get fixed. That will probably keep me from fishing for week or so now. Anyway, they got my new digital camera, Sirrus radio, video Ipod, Garmin GPS, and all my work tools. This ramp is visible from several homes there. The only thing I had in plain view was the Sirrus radio because it is a pain to unplug an put up. It just pisses me off that you can't go anywhere and NOT have to worry about crap like this happening. The bad thing is that it is a company vehicle and they won't cover personal equipment. Ok, I'm done ranting. Just another lesson learned I guess.
