Got a delima here that i need some help with. In short, my grandfather has a 15ft ski boat (50's-60's) model that has been sitting in the barn for 40 years now. Motor blew on him back in the 70's and the boat has just sat there for the raccons to tear up. Going to take the boat to the dump and im going to keep the trailer to turn into a smoker trailer.

The trailer has 12 in wheels on it and has 4.80x400x12 tires on it. I am looking at these tires to replace the ones on the trailer with.

These tires have a 990 lb carrying capacity. Im wondering if i should go to a bigger 13inch tire and wheel or if i should just stay with the 12in tires and original wheels. Im also wondering if i go with the tires in the link, if they will be strong enough to hold the weight of the smoker on trailer. Haveing trouble guesstimating how much this thing will weigh. The smoking camber will be around 30 inches in diameter and around 4 foot long. The trailer will also hold a small tool box for supplies, a small gas grill, a propane tank holder and a metal storage box for fire wood. Should i choose bigger wheels and tires that have more weight capacity or do you think these 12 inch tires will do fine?
