My 24 volt 2011 Terrova started acting up on a fishing trip we took. Started making a loud clunking noise in the water and losing power. would stop completely on low power then cranked it up to 10 and would kick back into it then lose power again n low speed after a few minutes. Took it out of the water and it would run laying one way and shut off when you rotated the shaft either way. So took the top head off looked for loose wires and found none. Then tried to take motor apart but was dark and didn't have the best tools. It had a little fishing line under prop but besides that didn't see anything wrong on the inside of it but wasn't exactly sure what I was looking at or for so lol. Put it back together was doing the same thing. I then hit it with a hammer easy a few times and it came into it and ran like brand new for a whole day on the water then went back to doing it again the next day. So, I'm assuming it's something on the lower end but just don't know enough about them to diagnose it.

Never had a bit of trouble out of this troller and would hate to scrap it and buy a brand new one unless I absolutely had to. Any help would be appreciated.
