My bow Gen 4 helix 12 DI I use for mapping and 360 is now shutting down after hitting rough water running from spot to spot. I am talking just a few waves, not Lake Erie waves. The unit doesn't power completely off but has faint white vertical lines through the entire display. I have to unplug the unit at the cable connector and plug it back in to get it to work. Then power back up and wait for everything to start working again. Waiting for waypoints and mapping to come up is a real PIA when you are fishing offshore. I have cleaned and checked the connections. Checked voltage at the cable end. All is good. Going to try a new power cord. I have a Garmin unit at the bow for FFS hooked to the same power source and it is working fine.

Anyone have this issue and how did you solve it? I see Humminbird sells a lot of power cords based on Amazon. This unit was in twice under warranty trying to get the 360 working with it and the console Gen 4 Helix 12 SI but is now out of warranty. I see $478.50 for a repair at Humminbird. Nice.
