I managed to chip the insert on the rod tip guide on a Falcon Cara rod. Have ordered a couple replacements (might as well get a spare). Just have a question on exactly how to remove the old / existing tip top? Are these typically put on with expoxy, or with a hot-melt glue?

Any help is appreciated.
