AT2 improvment over AT1 with updated softwares

So, there were initial problems and complaints about AT2, but appears the latest sw updates have cleaned up most if not all of those early issues...

So, can we revisit the AT1 vs AT2 comparisons again? Initial comparisons were biased by the early sw issues, but now I think would be a good time to revisit a comparison. I am considering upgrading from my dual AT1's to a single AT2 and HD Nosecone setup.

IIRC, the strongest points for AT2 were better target separation for fish on the bottom, and also ability to see fish further out? Are these valid improvements or just marketing talk? Any other improvements?
