Ranger Warranty-Looking for your experience with it

Hi All,

I have a 2018 Aluminum RT Ranger 198P. I am in the Madison WI area. Boat took on water this summer, took it home and filled the bottom with water and found a pretty significant crack in the hull where it is welded.

Dealer here sent to a master welder, said he would not touch it with a 10 ft pole.

Dropping it off tomorrow (10/26/22) where they are going to strip it and send it down south to get looked at, fixed and or replaced.

1. Think it will be a new boat or a fix?
2. What is your guess on how long it will take for me to get my boat back? And why?
