    Panama Tuna Trip -- November 6-12, 2021

We went to Panama in April for tuna and it was a life-changing trip -- so incredible that we're headed back seven months later. We have a trip planned for 8 that we thought was full, but now a couple had to back out for family reasons. That leaves up to two spots. We're happy to add a single angler, or you can come with a fishing partner or spouse. Our current group of six includes a BBCer and two women, so all are invited.

It's not inexpensive, but it's a first-class operation on a private island with World Cat boats and the best tackle you can get. The food is exceptional (think a lot of seafood, but the steaks are killer too) and alcohol is included. The package price includes all transfers, a night in Panama City, plus in-country airfare, wifi on the island, daily laundry service. You're just responsible for international airfare, gratuities, expenditures in Panama City.

The yellowfin will still be there--and you can take a cooler full home--but the inshore fishing for species like roosterfish and cubera snapper should be better this time around. There should also be billfish in the area. It's like multiple trips in one. I've been to the Amazon, Alaska, Africa, etc., on fishing trips, and this is about as exciting as it gets.
