Hey Texans! I just got back yesterday from my annual trip to Okeechobee. My buddy and I have decided to go to Falcon next year. Can anyone help with the following:

1. Best month to go....Jan, Feb, or Mar????
2. Best place to stay?
3. What guide would you recommend? This will be our first trip there and we are not bringing our boats. We would arrive on a Thurs and fish Fri and Sat.
