I have a 2007 Etec. The first time the powerhead failed with 160 hours. It was due to a failed injector.
After having a new powerhead installed the #2 cylinder is gone and need another powerhead after only 42 hours. This time the tech can not find a reason why the it blew. Computer shows nothing, injector appears to be working, they have no idea why it blew. He says it looks like fuel starvation, but does not know why.
Any ideas???
I've been without my boat for a month, and this is getting old. No new powerhead sent yet and still waiting on hearing if BRP is going to stand behind a powerhead with 42 hours. Looks like more waiting.![]()
