I bought a 2018 FX 21 with 250 SHO a few months ago and can only get 66 mph out of it. I have a 25 T2 prop, two talons, 90 lbs (weighed it) of tackle in the front box along with 15 rods. In the back boxes I have miscellaneous stuff on starboard side and leave the port side open for partner.

Tonight the air temp was 84 degrees, 62% humidity, 7 mph wind so light chop, and 60% fuel.

5 dots is 2 7/8 below pad, 5630 rpm, 66 mph, 18 psi with wind.
5 dots at 2 7/8 below pad, 5560 rpm, 64.5 mph, 18 psi against wind.

6 dots.....5610 rpm, 66.5 17 psi with wind
6 dots.....5600 rpm, 64.5, 17 psi against wind

7 dots.....5620, 66.5, 17 with wind
7 dots.....5610, 64, 17 against

8 dots.....5700, 66.2, 17 with wind
8 dots.....5670, 64, 17 against

9 dots.....5710. 65.8, 17 with wind
9 dots.....5700, 64, 17 against

Not sure what the measurements below pad on the other dots are. I am getting decent bow lift and good hole shot. Also had a guy load up while I was moving motor and he had 2017 FX 21 with 25 prop with about 75 pounds of tackle in his front box. He said he gets 72 mph. I would have loved to have tried his prop, but he had an 1.5 hour drive home and was ready to leave. Also he had his motor set at 6 dots.

I also have 6 years of warranty left so don't want to flash and ruin that.
