I may be headed to a BFL in October and I'm looking for lodging, we'll be launching out of Chester Frost Park. I will be staying a week, looking for either a house or motel, prefer the kind that you can back the boat right up to the room door. On the opposite side of the lake, off of 75 & 64 there is a Super 8 motel, is this in a decent area?

Also I noticed the lake is usually drawn down some that time of year. I understand the ledges are the deal there, but does a shallow bite exist that time of year? Is there much water left on the docks?
