    98 225 vindicator feels like running out of gas?

    First a few notes, I've done the #2 carb upgrade, so thats not the problem.

    New plugs, and I run stabil marine in every tank of gas to help fight ethanol.

    Motor doesn't want to idle sometimes, stalls and feels like running out of fuel. At times when I floor it to get up on plane, it bogs and stalls...feels exactly like running out of gas. Does it both while motor is warm and cold.

    Even at end of day when trying to idle in to load on trailer, it will die. Always restarts right away, but doesn't like low idle situations.

    Any ideas where to start? I'm going to decarb the motor this week and change plugs again, but anything else that might be a problem? I've read that richening up the carbs might help....any truth to this?

    Throttle plates all opening together? Timing good? Primer bulb hard?

    I would recommend checking what Fred suggested, however, my 200 vindicator had the exact problem several months ago and I found it to be the fuel pump. Primer bulb would not harden, no fuel leaks, timing was correct...Fuel pump fixed it!!

    Had the same problem last season with my 225 vindicator. Fuel Pump was also the problem.

    I have a 150 intruder that has the exact same problem. My mechanic hasn't been able to figure it out. I have replaced the bulb and fuel lines both. Let me know what you come up with if u don't mind.
